CSAFP visits PMC, urges Marines to remain United as the AFP and Loyal to the Country

FORT BONIFACIO, Taguig City – The Chief of Staff, Armed Forces of the Philippines, Gen. Romeo Brawner Jr., PA, made his first official visit today, January 23, 2024, at the Headquarters, Philippine Marine Corps.

He was accorded with an Arrival Honors, wherein he subsequently delivered his message to the Marine troops. “I am very proud of our Philippine Marines and all of the accomplishments that you have made in the entire existence of the Philippine Marine Corps’, Brawner said. As he recalled the bravery of the Marines at the height of the Marawi Siege, he concluded his message by encouraging the troops to be always remain united as a unit and as part of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

During the program, Gen. Brawner was also awarded a Philippine Marine Corps Badge.
