1st Marine Rifle Battalion successfully carried out security operations in support of the ongoing Zamboanga Hermosa Festival 2025.The unit provided area security at Plaza Pershing during the Cosechas de Zamboanga, the City Government’s Agri-Fishery Fair, ensuring the safety of participants and visitors. Likewise, Marines secured the Regatta de Zamboanga and Wow Sardinas/Lechon Festival 2025 at RT Lim Boulevard, as well as the Backride Pinas Got Talent Culmination Night held at Paseo del Mar, where large crowds gathered to celebrate local talents.

In addition, the unit deployed personnel to maintain order and safety during the daily procession at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral, a solemn highlight of the festival. As part of its commitment to safeguarding public activities, MBLT-1 also conducted K9 paneling operations at Plaza Pershing to reinforce preventive security measures for festivalgoers.
