Philippine Marines marks their 72nd founding anniversary

The Philippine Marine Corps celebrated its 72nd anniversary with a grand ceremony at Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City. President Ferdinard R. Marcos Jr. served as the guest of honor. Commandant Major General Chaerlton Gaerlan led the event, which highlighted the Marines' commitment to peace and progress in the Philippines. The ceremony featured awards, a cake-cutting tradition, and a heartfelt speech from the President, who himself began his military career as a Marine. The event honored both past and present Marines while looking forward to a promising future.
