As part of Exercise KAMANDAG 10-2026, the Philippine Marine Corps and United States Marine Corps conducted a three-day Mutual Defense Board-Security Engagement Board (MDB-SEB) Subject Matter Expert Exchange from June 15 to 17, 2026 to enhance interoperability and strengthen information-related capabilities among participating forces.

The exchange brought together personnel from the Philippine Marine Corps, Civil-Military Operations Command, Armed Forces of the Philippines, Philippine Navy, Philippine Air Force, Philippine Coast Guard, Philippine National Police Special Action Force, Philippine National Police Maritime Group, and Marine reservists, alongside U.S. Marines from Marine Rotational Force-Southeast Asia and the 3rd Marine Littoral Regiment, 3rd Marine Division.

Participants deepened their understanding of the information environment through discussions on Information Environment Operations, Communication Strategy, and Psychological Operations. Classroom instruction and practical exercises enabled participants to apply information-related capabilities in support of operational planning and decision-making.

The activity concluded with Effects of Information planning briefings, best-practice exchanges, and an after-action review, allowing participants to share insights, refine processes, and strengthen interagency and multinational coordination.

The MDB-SEB Subject Matter Expert Exchange supports the objectives of KAMANDAG 10-2026 by enhancing interoperability and improving the ability of allied and partner forces to operate effectively in complex information environments.
