
FORT BONIFACIO, Taguig City โ Brigadier General Romulo D. Quemado II PN(M), Deputy Commander for Internal Defense Operations of Western Mindanao Command, paid his retirement visit to the Philippine Marine Corps on March 19, 2026, at the Headquarters, Marine Barracks Rudiardo Brown.
Hosted by the Commandant of the Philippine Marine Corps, Major General Vicente MAP Blanco III PN(M), the ceremony featured arrival honors and a formal farewell tribute in recognition of Brigadier General Quemadoโs 38 years of dedicated and distinguished military service.
During the ceremony, he was presented with a Plaque of Honorable Service, Unit Assignment Logo Box, Marine Assistance System ID, and the Marine Veterans Overseas Cap, symbols of his enduring contributions to the Marine Corps and the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
A proud member of the Philippine Military Academy โTanglaw-Diwaโ Class of 1992, Brigadier General Quemado leaves behind a legacy defined by exemplary leadership, professionalism, and steadfast commitment to duty.
