FORT BONIFACIO, Taguig City โ€” Twenty-four (24) new Marine Officers from Marine Officer Basic Course (MOBC) Class 51 โ€œSAGMARAYAโ€ successfully completed their training and were formally welcomed into the Philippine Marine Corps during the Pinning of Emblem Ceremony held on June 23, 2026 at The Basic School, Ternate, Cavite.

The six-month intensive training program culminated in the highly symbolic โ€œCall to Armsโ€ event, a demanding test of physical endurance, mental resilience, and leadership. Through 11 obstacles, the student officers paid tribute to the courage, sacrifice, and heroism of the Philippine Marine Corpsโ€™ 11 Medal of Valor awardees, embodying the warrior spirit that defines every Marine.

Major General Ronaldo V Juan PN(M), Deputy Commander of the Armed Forces Intelligence Command, graced the ceremony as Guest of Honor and Speaker. In his address, he commended the graduates for their perseverance, dedication, and commitment in completing one of the militaryโ€™s most demanding officer training programs. He emphasized that true leadership is founded not solely on authority, but on trust, character, and competence.

The ceremony marked not only the successful completion of their training but also the beginning of their service as Marine officers entrusted to lead Marines in defense of the nation.โฉโฉ
