The Philippine Marine Corps (PMC) conducted simultaneous flag‑raising ceremonies across its Marine units on September 7, 2026 in observance of 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗽𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 (𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗔 𝗠𝗼) 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, reaffirming the Corps’ commitment to fostering maritime consciousness, advancing national unity, and upholding shared responsibility in safeguarding the country’s maritime domain.

During the ceremonies, the official message of His Excellency Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., President of the Republic of the Philippines, for MANA Mo 2026 was read and disseminated to all PMC personnel. It underscored the critical importance of protecting our nation’s seas, strengthening maritime awareness, and recognizing the shared duty of every Filipino to steward the country’s maritime domain.

Anchored on this year’s theme “Karagatan sa Kaunlaran, Sama‑Samang Nating Alagaan”, the observance highlights the vital role of our seas in sustaining communities, driving national development, bolstering security, and shaping the future of the Filipino people.

The PMC remains steadfast in supporting all efforts that uphold national sovereignty, protect maritime interests, and strengthen the defense of the Philippine archipelago.
