Brigadier General Larry C. Batalla PN(M), Commander, 1st Marine Brigade, Philippine Marine Corps as the Head of Delegation for the 𝗣𝗠𝗖 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗠𝗖 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗳𝗳-𝘁𝗼-𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗳𝗳 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸𝘀, conducted an official visit to the Headquarters Eastern Mindanao Command at Naval Station Felix Apolinario, Panacan, Davao City, on September 9, 2026.

Upon arrival, Brigadier General Batalla was accorded military honors and welcomed by Brigadier General Charlie L. Tiu Jr. PAF, EastMinCom Deputy Commander, together with the Command’s officers, enlisted personnel, and civilian employees.

The visit centered on the Philippine Marine Corps - Eastern Mindanao Command Staff-to-Staff Talks where both sides discussed areas of mutual interest, operational coordination, and ways to further strengthen collaboration in support of shared security objectives across Eastern Mindanao.

The engagement reaffirmed the PMC’s commitment to strengthening joint operations, interoperability, and operational readiness in safeguarding peace and security in the area of responsibility.
