The Philippine Marine Corps (PMC) welcomed Lieutenant General Ju Il-Suk, Commandant of the Republic of Korea Marine Corps (ROKMC), during his official visit to Headquarters Philippine Marine Corps on 29 September 2026.
LtGen Ju paid a courtesy call on Brigadier General Bayani V. Curaming PN(M), Acting Commandant, PMC, at the Commandantβs Lounge. The engagement reaffirmed the longstanding partnership between the two Marine Corps and provided an opportunity to discuss ongoing and emerging areas of defense and security cooperation.
Following the courtesy call and guestbook signing, the ROKMC delegation proceeded to the Philippine-Korea Friendship Center for a wreath-laying ceremony before continuing with other scheduled engagements.
The visit further strengthened the enduring bonds between the PMC and ROKMC, underscoring their commitment to professional exchanges, defense cooperation, mutual understanding, and regional peace and stability.
