
๐๐๐จ๐๐จ๐, ๐๐๐๐๐ฌ๐๐ก | As part of Exercise Balikatan 41-2026, the Philippine Marine Corps (PMC) and the Amphibious Rapid Deployment Brigade (ARDB) of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) successfully conducted an amphibious operation along the coastal areas of Barangay Bagu, Abulug, Cagayan, on April 28, 2026.
Led by the 3rd Marine Rifle Battalion under the 4th Marine Brigade, the operation was reinforced by personnel from the 10th Marine Rifle Battalion, 66th Force Reconnaissance Company, Combat Engineer Battalion, Philippine Air Force Combat Air Controllers, and key naval assets, including LD-601, LC-820, PC-380, and the Unmanned Surface Vehicle Unit.
The exercise demonstrated seamless integration of air, land, and sea capabilities, highlighting the discipline, readiness, and interoperability of participating forces in executing complex amphibious operations.
The successful landing underscored the enduring spirit of Balikatan 41-2026, โShoulder-to-Shoulder,โ strengthening defense cooperation, regional security, and the shared commitment of allied forces to safeguard the nation and the region.
