The Marine Battalion Landing Team-2 (MBLT-2) launched its heartwarming outreach program, “GIFTS FOR KIDS,” at Cabuan Elementary School, Brgy. Cabuan, Parang, Maguindanao del Norte on October 7, 2025.

In partnership with PAFCPIC-Cotabato, LGU-Parang, Barangay LGU of Cabuan, and Karancho Parang Chapter;

the activity brought smiles to young learners through the distribution of lunch bags with lunchboxes and McDonald’s toys, a magic show and entertainment by Pvt. Singko, food feeding, and ice cream sharing.

Ms. Virginia D. Balucas, School Principal, and her staff expressed heartfelt gratitude to MBLT-2 and partner stakeholders for making their long-held dream come true—being recognized and supported as a growing elementary school.

LTCOL JOHN A. DE LA CRUZ PN(M)(GSC), Commanding Officer, MBLT-2, emphasized, “Together with our partner stakeholders, we will never get tired of knocking on hearts that want to extend their help with this school.”

This meaningful activity stands as a symbol of hope and joy as MBLT-2 celebrates the 75th Philippine Marine Corps Anniversary on November 07, 2025 and MBLT-2's 53rd Activation Day on October 10, 2025.
