FORT BONIFACIO, Taguig City – Brigadier General Larry C Batalla PN(M) was accorded with Arrival Honors during his official visit to the Headquarters Philippine Marine Corps and made a courtesy call to the Marine Corps Commandant Major General Vicente MAP Blanco III on July 23, 2025 at HPMC, MBRB, Fort Bonifacio Taguig City.

BGen Batalla is a proud member of the Philippine Military Academy “Bantay-Laya” Class of 1994 and the newly installed Commander of 1st Marine Brigade stationed in Barira, Maguindanao del Norte. Prior to his current position, he served as the Deputy Commander for Marine Operations of Naval Forces Northern Luzon.

During the courtesy call, MGen Blanco congratulated BGen Batalla on his promotion and assumption as new Commander of Marine Forces in Central Mindanao. The two leaders discussed matters in line with strengthening archipelagic territorial defense.
