US Marine Commander Pays Courtesy Visit to the PMC

FORT BONIFACIO, TAGUIG CITY I Lieutenant General James F. Glynn, USMC, Commander of U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific (US MARFORPAC), paid a courtesy call on Major General Vicente MAP Blanco III PN(M), Commandant, Philippine Marine Corps, at Marine Barracks Rudiardo Brown, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City, on 08 May 2025.

The Key Leader Engagement highlighted the enduring partnership between the Philippine Marine Corps (PMC) and US MARFORPAC. Discussions focused on strengthening strategic alignment, synchronizing long-term development plans, and enhancing interoperability to address evolving regional security challenges.

Both leaders emphasized the importance of sustained bilateral engagements, particularly through joint trainings and exercises, to advance operational readiness and support the shared objectives of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command.
