
HMBLT-10, Lal-lo, Cagayan — The Youth Leadership Summit (YLS) 2025 successfully culminated on 10 October 2025 at Headquarters, Marine Battalion Landing Team-10 (MBLT-10), under the 4th Marine Brigade, in collaboration with the RHU Aparri West, PNP Lal-lo, and LEAD Academy.
Throughout the four-day summit, 58 students from Lyceum of Camalaniugan, headed by their Principal Ma’am Evergilda S. Lagmay and accompanied by their teachers, engaged in dynamic leadership sessions, team-building exercises, and mentorship programs that strengthened their teamwork, discipline, and sense of civic duty.
MBLT-10 conducted the West Philippine Sea Information Drive, Lecture and Static Display on the Capabilities of the Philippine Marine Corps raising awareness on national security and operational readiness. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Choking Management Training further equipped participants with lifesaving skills.
RHU Aparri West led sessions on Mental Health, STI Awareness, and Early Pregnancy Prevention, educating the youth on making informed decisions, maintaining wellness, and practicing responsible behavior, while PNP Lal-lo covered Drug Awareness and Sexual Abuse Prevention, instilling vigilance, discipline, and moral integrity.
The LEAD Academy, headed by Mr. Rommel Rodriguez, further enhanced the summit through sessions on Leadership and Spiritual Formation, inspiring participants to lead with faith, compassion, and purpose.
The summit concluded with a Closing Ceremony graced by Hon. Isidro T. Cabaddu, Mayor of Camalaniugan, who highlighted the youth’s vital role in nation-building and emphasized how faith, patriotism, and responsible leadership guide them to positively contribute to their communities.
This initiative underscores MBLT-10’s commitment to developing disciplined, service-oriented leaders ready to serve their communities and the nation.
